As part of the influential filmmaker’s MFA|EDA visit, you are invited to join us for a rare program of personal prints and digital excerpts, followed by Q&A.

Filmmaker/Friend/Family David Gatten will moderate the evening’s program.

Peter Hutton, BFA/MFA from San Francisco Art Institute, is the Kellogg Professor of the Arts at Bard College, where he has taught since 1984, teaching previously at Hampshire College, Harvard University and SUNY Purchase. As a filmmaker, Hutton has produced over twenty films – silent cinematic portraits of cities and landscapes from around the world. Exhibitions have included a retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art (2008) and the Whitney Biennial (1985, 1991, 1995, 2004). Hutton is a recipient of grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, DAAD Berliner, Rockefeller Foundation, Dutch Film Critics Award, Guggenheim Fellowship.
