“Nine Visions”: Photography with Southern Vision

Curated by Glenn Scarboro, president of the Danville Museum of Fine Arts & History, Nine Visions includes the work of nine photographers who have Southern roots or ties. Four of them have direct connections with the Center for Documentary Studies: Tom Rankin, director of CDS; Christopher Sims, who teaches in the undergraduate and continuing education programs at CDS; and former adjunct instructors Pamela Pecchio and Jeff Whetstone.

Also included in the show are Emmet Gowin, a Danville native who has lectured at CDS on a number of occasions; Elijah Gowin; Bill Wylie; Dave Woody; and Susan Worsham.
