MFA Featured in “Documenting Duke” Audio Work by CDS Undergraduates

MFA Carpentry Shop under renovation

Through a collaboration between the Center for Documentary Studies and Duke Magazine, students in John Biewen’s undergraduate classes “Introduction to Audio Documentary” and “The Short Audio Documentary” have produced audio features to complement stories featured in the magazine.

Among the recent audio pieces posted to Duke Magazine’s website is a piece by Elisabeth Michel, who reports on the transformation of the Carpentry Shop into the home of the Master of Fine Arts in Experimental and Documentary Arts.

To listen to the pieces produced by Biewen’s students, visit the “Documenting Duke” section of Duke Magazine’s website.
