Alumnus Wolfgang Hastert at Cucalorus Film Festival

2013 Alumnus Wolfgang Hastert’s film WOLFKINO will screen at the Cucalorus Film Festival in Wilmington on November 16th.The experimental film is a short narrative portraying people on Fayetteville Street in Durham. WOLFKINO juxtaposes two unique media: 35mm B/W hand-processed film with 35mm color footage shot in a hand-cranked toy camera.

Director Bio:
Wolfgang Hastert, called Wolf by his peers, is an award-winning documentary/ experimental filmmaker and media artist. He has been working with the European arts channel ARTE TV as an independent author, director, producer, and cinematographer. His films on American artists, photographers, and pop & cyber culture have been presented in festivals world-wide.
